i was at the game where Porter helped set the record for fewest turnovers in a game (3) vs the Suns back in the 90s
was he actually as slow as he seems? does that mean he was wicked smart to be able to be that slow and still be one of the league's best?
Yes, TP was slow but not as slow as Brandon Roy. When I see BRoy drive the lane I think of the line from Dune, "The slow blade penetrates the shield"...he may not have quicks but his timing is exquisite.
