Death March Update

"So the death march is friday feb 20 through sunday feb 22nd. We had to get the cabin for friday and saturday in order to reserve it, saturday only wasn't an option. We will have to figure out if some are going friday night, and some saturday, or all saturday or what. Regardless I have some feats of strength in mind and the cabin is reserved."

Well I didn't want too much information released too fast so not to overload people. The cabin is called the american ridge lodge and photos can be viewed here:

This place used to be a ski resort so there are still some runs that aren't completely overgrown. The cabin is around 1 mile from the parking spot.
So far some ideas of events are sled race, snowman contest, firewood timetrial. Additionally if there is snow we will be building the oregon version of an igloo, the quinzee.

It is about 4-5 hours from PDX, I'm thinking either 2 waves so that people who get there late walk into a warm cabin with a fire going, or just go Saturday.

wow bjorn that is the coolest cabin i went there as a kid a couple of times and i do remember a huge sledding hill and plenty of fun places to go and i am almost positive that there will be a little snow plus this cabin is only an hour from where i was born cant wait.
